Abstract

Laboratory work – is a form of educational process in which the student is under the
direction of teacher conduct experiments simulation experiments or experiments. This is done
with the practical confirmation of certain provisions of this theoretical discipline. Laboratory
classes at the department of ecology on the subject "General Ecology (and Neo)" held in the
training lab where students gain practical skills of laboratory equipment, computers,
instrumentation, experimental research methodology. During the class, students are introduced to
the method of ecological research, modern methods of determining the state of the environment,
including air, water, soil cover, vegetation. Laboratory sessions cover a range of topics, among
them: "Determination of environmental air quality", "Assessment of air pollution using lichens",
"Sampling of surface, ground water and bottom sediments", "Canning and preparation of water
samples for analysis" "The main environmental characteristics of water", "Field ecological trails
and sampling of soil" and others. One of the most interesting topics laboratory classes, we offer
