Екологічні проблеми Луганської області

Abstract

Is this article the analysis of natural environment in Lugansk region is made. The special attention is paid to the current state of environment preservation of air and water resources, which are mostly negative influenced onto. Comparative analysis of air and hydrosphere state of Lugansk region within 20-years observation period (since 1990) has revealed the low efficiency of nature-reservation measures at many industrial enterprises, power plants and transport that resulted in exceeding of concentration of some contaminants relative to maximum permissible concentration (MPC) in the air of population areas and dumping the great volume (more 50%) of sewage water into surface waters. Developed regional and branch-oriented programs are not able to solve fundamentally main ecological problems because of low financing volume.
